Poetic Engagement


Poetic Engagement is a site-specific project developed for the Naval Cemetery Landscape in Brooklyn. User interviews revealed that many visitors were unsure how to interact with the space and gravitated toward low-stakes, nature-based experiences.

In response, a series of prompt cards was created around the site’s themes of nature, healing, and rest. Installed throughout the landscape, the cards offer activities for visitors to explore.

Next Project: Savor & Story

Savor & Story is a campaign designed to make Chinese cuisine more approachable. Through bilingual storytelling and illustration, it shares the cultural background of each dish to help bridge language and cultural gaps, especially in places like Chinatown.
