Poetic Engagement


Poetic Engagement is a site-specific project developed for the Naval Cemetery Landscape in Brooklyn. User interviews revealed that many visitors were unsure how to interact with the space and gravitated toward low-stakes, nature-based experiences.

In response, a series of prompt cards was created around the site’s themes of nature, healing, and rest. Installed throughout the landscape, the cards offer activities for visitors to explore.
